Professional Judaic Exhibitions

Shelomo Alfassa is past Director of Special Projects for the American Sephardi Federation. Mr. Alfassa has worked on several Jewish cultural exhibitions, this includes developing and curating three of his own exhibitions, at the Center for Jewish History (an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution). Two of these exhibitions received the support of the New York Council for the Humanities and opened to a reception of several hundred persons respectively. These exhibition were sanctioned by Rabbi Mark D. Angel, rabbi emeritus of Congregation Shearith Israel, the historic Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue in New York City.
